I’m thankful for the freedom to be me. The freedom to choose what path to take, ignore the status quo, and follow my heart.
Thirty Days of Thankfulness, Day 27
I’m thankful for lazy Sundays after a busy fun-filled week of vacation. Even though it was “vacation,” there wasn’t much resting going on! Today we literally stayed in our pajamas all day long — I say literally because I’m honestly still in mine at 7:39pm as I type this ;)
Thirty Days of Thankfulness, Day 26
I’m thankful for the ability to provide a good Thanksgiving meal (albeit a couple of days late) for family and friends. These apples were part of my mom’s stuffing recipe, which everyone had seconds and thirds of :) We stuffed ourselves sick.

Catching up!
Death Valley, November 2011, Day 3
Some photos from day 3 of our Death Valley jeeping trip :) Along the way we stopped at a few “Adopt-a-Cabin” sites that are open to the public to stay in for up to a week at a time. Pretty cool stuff – I never knew they existed until recently.
Death Valley, November 2011 — Day 2
Some photos from Day 2 of our recent camping/Jeeping trip :)
Death Valley, November 2011 – Day 1
Another trip to Death Valley :) Once again, we had the best time! It’s nice to have a few months between camping trips, though…
Thirty Days of Thankfulness, Day 16
After making FIVE trips to my kids’ school today, I’m glad to be packing tonight for a slower-paced long weekend with lots of hiking and enjoying the silence :) This week was parent/teacher conference week for us, so I’m also SO thankful for two very positive parent conferences today for my girls filled with lots of compliments and lots of “good job” comments from the teachers :) My girls are both blossoming and excelling in every subject. SO thankful for that!
Thirty Days of Thankfulness, Day 15
I’m thankful for a career that I love where I can work only part of the week so I can be a “stay at home mom” the other half of the week :)
