I’ve taken pictures of this “R” from this exact vantage point just about every January/February since 1998 (it’s from the parking lot at the school where I teach). Today, it looked so much whiter than I ever remember capturing before. It obviously snowed a little last night! Ironically, one of the nearby peaks is where my classroom at the first school I ever taught at is located. I’m recovering from the worst stomach flu I’ve ever had. I feel 100 times better than I did yesterday, but even today, I have no energy and can barely move. Awful! My poor kids — they were so worried about me :( I couldn’t even take them to school yesterday, had to call for help. Thankfully I’m almost back to myself!

It almost rained today. I was actually kind of looking forward to it. But, I never saw a drop… I was working on some action-testing for The Red Kitchen today, and used an old photo of Ainsley (which I’ll post as soon as the actions are ready!) and it made me want to try another similar photo of her now, so I did. What I realized is, I think I like her hair better with some bangs, but she doesn’t want any (because her sister doesn’t have any… le sigh)
