Homemade orange juice!
After collecting a ton of oranges from our backyard, we made homemade orange juice yesterday — the girls were amazed that all you had to do is squeeze the oranges and voila! It was perfect — just juice right from the fruit :)
Hanging out in the backyard
I’m loving spring break :) Yesterday we hung out in the backyard, laid in the hammock for a while, painted, just enjoyed the sunshine :) My flowers aren’t going to last a whole lot longer, so I’m taking way too many pictures of them while they’re still around.
Playing “Pet Hotel”
The girls haven’t played with a dollhouse in a really long time. BUT, when I suggested they play “Pet Hotel,” they were all over it. They used a bookshelf and two stools to create a multi-layer pet hotel, complete with an underground parking garage and two rooftop terraces. It was pretty cute :) Their creativity amazes me sometimes!
Oh, and they also left this little meesage for me. I’m so glad Ainsley is using her Kindergarten spelling skills to create such loving, thoughtful messages…
Wasteful
Isn’t this crazy? I stopped to take this photo a while ago and wish I had’ve thought to capture the sign nearby that said “No picking/No Collecting.” Why not? Today I drove by and see they’re all still there and rotting :( Putting it way back in March because that’s when I took it!
Horseback riding with Grammy and friends :)
The girls and I and Grammy and some friends all got to spend the day at the ranch and ride Bubba, my mom’s horse :) We had a great time until the clouds rolled in and it got windy and too cold! The girls were POOPED!
