This is a friend of mine that I teach with :) She’s getting married and moving to Hawaii this summer. So excited for her – and can’t wait to photograph their wedding!

On Monday, her usual homework folder came home and had virtually no homework listed inside :) She had a test today, she’s in a school play tomorrow, and Thursday she has a biography report to present. She’s pretty darn excited that the end is near (and so am I!)

I tried to capture the partial solar eclipse on Sunday. It was super hard to directly capture it without special tools, which I didn’t have :) In hindsight, I could have used some old film that I have lying around, but I didn’t think of it until afterward :)

On Saturday, we went over to check out the Optimist Club of Redlands’s Car Show and Chili Cookout. Hangar 24 was serving beer, so that was enough of a reason to go :) It was nice weather and we just hung out on the grass for a while.

The kitty was sitting on the floor, in a dark room, and one single beam of sunlight was shining in on him. I thought it looked kind of cool :) I’ve been sick lately, and life has been unusually busy. I haven’t had much time to post and keep up with my site. School is almost out, however!!! Yahoo!

I had to make a run to Costco, and I went the long way (which means I didn’t take the freeway, but side streets instead) because our Costco is SUCH a pain to get to and traffic can be insane. On the way there, I passed a long strip of land that holds many electrical towers, ending at the SCE eletrical plant. I thought I’d stop and snap a photo of them :)
